I was born and raised in a small town in Albania, and I have spent the last five years teaching this language online to students scattered across the world.
In March 2020 I built Learn Shqip, the first Albanian language platform of its kind. More than 500 students have come through my courses since, some living in Tirana, most living nowhere near it.
My courses are made for English speakers, and that shapes everything: the comparisons between the two languages, the order things are taught in, the small tricks that make a grammar rule stick instead of sliding off. You do not need a single word of Albanian to start.
